The aim of the MA Laws programme is to foster scholarship and research in the Law discipline, both for students who are planning on continuing with a PhD programme in Law and for those who will be seeking professional work in a range of fields for which a background in Laws is required.
Admission Requirements
Minimum Entry Qualifications:
Advanced Diploma in a related field from a recognized higher learning institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 5-point scale) and above
OR.
Bachelor degree in a related field from a recognized higher learning institution with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (on a 5-point scale).
Bachelor degree in a related field from a recognized higher learning institution with a minimum GPA of 2.7 (on a 5-point scale) plus five years of work experience in a related field.
OR
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in related field from a recognized higher learning institution with minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 5-point scale).
For applicants with unclassified Bachelor Degree the GPA should be computed and the criteria should apply.
