The President of Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) and Chancellor of the Saint Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) Rt. Rev. Wolfgang Pisa, OFMCap, Bishop of Lindi appointed Rev. Prof. Juvenalis Asantemungu as acting Vice Chancellor of SAUT effective from June 16th, 2025. Due to the health reason and a long absence of the current Vice Chancellor, Amb. Prof. Costa Ricky Mahalu from the office, a kind of intervention has to be made. The appointed acting Vice Chancellor, Rev. Prof. Juvenalis Asantemungu at the same time continue’s as the Principal of Archbishop Mihayo University College of Tabora (AMUCTA). The university congratulates Prof. Asantemungu, wishes him success in service delivery in his new position and requests the SAUT community and the general public to accord him necessary cooperation.
